ABSTRACT
Television channel Cabler has picked up the pilot "Growing Up Gotti" to series, ordering 20 half-hours of the project, which trails New York personality Victoria Gotti as she raises her three teenage sons and works as a gossip journalist. The show has been in development since late last year. The channel shot demo footage for the series in Gotham, New York then featuring Gotti dealing with celebrities Courtney Love, Sean Combs and Liz Smith. A&E documentary programming vice-president Nancy Dubuc said the skein would be similar to Music Television's celeb-centered hit series "The Osbournes" but would have broader appeal.
