ABSTRACT
Great Britain's Raindance Film Festival is planning to launch its own DVD label with video outfit Anchor Bay Entertainment Inc. The venture will release six to 10 titles a year, primarily featuring movies from Raindance lineups that didn't get Great Britain distribution. First release is scheduled for September 2004. Raindance is among Great Britain's leading independent festivals and focuses on first-time British helmers. The 12th edition will take place during October 1-10, 2004. The offshoot Raindance East Film Fest runs during April 23-29, 2004 and showcases promising work from London's East End, as of March 23, 2004.
