ABSTRACT
French film sales company Celluloid Dreams has appointed veteran Canuck executive Charlotte Mickie as managing director. She will take up the post on April 1, 2004. Mickie, head of film acquisitions and sales for the company Alliance Atlantis, will oversee worldwide sales and acquisitions for Celluloid Dreams and remain based in Toronto, Ontario. In other changes at Paris-based Celluloid Dreams, longtime sales executive Pierre Menahein is leaving to start his own company. Mickie was managing director of international motion picture sales at Alliance Atlantis but was axed as part of cost-cutting restructuring announced in December 2003.
