ABSTRACT
HIT Entertainment PLC, the British preschool entertainment specialist is mulling the launch of its own channel in what is already a crowded market. Announcing interim results in line with market forecasts, company helmer Rob Lawes said, "HIT now owns one of the strongest portfolios of children's properties in the world. The changing broadcast climate, which has seen the emergence of successful dedicated digital children's channels, has opened up ways that HIT might control distribution of its properties. We are actively exploring a number of options to that end."
