Established in 1939, Rigby & Peller, high-end lingerie retailer and official corsetieres to Queen Elizabeth, recently added some feminine flare to its traditional store design. With the direction of Great Britain-based Portland Design, Rigby & Peller's new look recently debuted in a store at London's Heathrow Airport. The new concept utilizes a rich color palette, incorporating reds, golds and pinks with draperies of heavy fabrics to create a luxury retail experience. The new design reflects a feminine feel, using curved perimeter walls with an iridescent sheen and undulating granite cut-outs inlaid into a timber floor.
