The Palm Café

Not to be confused with the nationally well-known Palm restaurant, the Palm Café is a retail concept created by Silicon Valley-based palmOne Inc. In fact, visitors can't even order a latte here. The most notable design element is the store's floor-to-ceiling café tables, created by B&N Industries, Burlingame, California, which encourage customers to try out the product. The white, inverted fabric umbrellas add a leisurely air to the interactive areas. Splashes of orange, the company's corporate color, add a zestful glow to the white backdrop in the small space and also help attract passersby.
