The Writers Guild of America (WGA) West will hold a special presidential election in September, adhering to a finding by the department of labor that last year's prexy contest was unlawful due to the ineligibility of Victoria Riskin to run for the office. The agreement, endorsed Tuesday night by the WGA West board, prevents the federal government from suing the guild over its failure to properly remedy the violation.
