This article presents information on IPOs in the U.S. The IPO 100 Index measures the average price of the most recent 100 initial public offerings, excluding closed-end funds and unit offerings containing warrants in the U.S. market. For the week ended March 24, the index closed at 18.10%. The best performer was Kintera Inc., up $1.94 to close at $16.94. The worst performer was Lipman Electronic Engineering, down $3.51 to close at $44.73. In all 33 stocks were up while 59 were down. 66 of the Index 100 components beat the S&P 500.
