ABSTRACT
This article presents information on personnel changes in financial departments of various companies. Brampton, Ontario-based Nortel Networks has appointed William Kerr as interim CFO and MaryAnne Pahapill as interim controller after the company suspended its CFO Douglas Beatty and controller Michael Gollogly following an independent accounting review. Houston, Texas-based software vendor BMC Software Inc. has hired George Harrington as senior vice president and CFO. Harrington was most recently vice president of finance for IBM Software Group. Atlanta, Georgia-based Ptek Holdings Inc., a messaging services and conference company, named Michael Havener interim CFO.
