David Faber, vice chairman and managing director of investment banking, is retiring from Merrill Lynch & Co. Inc. Since the early 1980s, Faber has been a member of the senior team that built up Merrill's investment banking franchise. Deutsche Bank AG has hired Bradley Dewey as a director responsible for equity research coverage of its multi-industry and electrical equipment sector. RBC Capital Markets hired David Weiner as a managing director in its global equity derivatives group. Weiner joins the firm from Lazard, where he was responsible for structured and derivative products as well as equity-linked origination.
