Asylum for Aristide in America

Nigeria has offered short-term asylum to former President of Haiti. He was forced out of his country by a group of thugs — backed by only God knows who — armed with weapons that may have been made in the United States. Former President is too hot to handle for all of the little countries that have tried or are trying to give him asylum. During his exile, there can raise enough enmity to make him a prime target for assassination. With all the criminals, communists, Nazis and politicians who have sought refuge in this country — and have found it — there is no reason why former President should not be offered exile in this country, until the problems in Haiti are smoothed out.
