ABSTRACT
Juice can be a healthier alternative to soda, but it also holds some hidden health troubles for young children if it's overconsumed. Although juice has the nutritional benefits of vitamins and water, it doesn't have any of the fiber of regular fruits and vegetables. And because of its sweet taste, its easy for children to overindulge. Drinking too much juice can cause a variety of problems, including energy: imbalance, diarrhea, flatulence, undernutrition, and even dental cavities, according to the American Academy of Pediatrics.
