ABSTRACT
The article offers health care industry news briefs as of November 2011. The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) conducted a survey on hospital workers, ambulatory care workers and long-term care workers who received a flu vaccine received for 2016-2017 flu season. The CDC launched Rx Awareness campaign to educate the public about the risks of prescription opioids to prevent misuse. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration approved the blood donor screening test for Zika virus.
