ABSTRACT
The article discusses the awardees in music category in the United States. Solid State Logic Inc. received the 2004 Technical Grammy Award at the 46th Annual ceremony for its design and production of audio mixing consoles, including the late-1970 SL 4000, the 1990 SuperAnalogue SL 9000, and the current XL 9000 K Series and C200. Avid Technology Inc's audio division, Digidesign, received an Academy Award of Merit from the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences on February 14, 2004, for its design, development and impLementation of the Pro Tools digital audio workstation.
