ABSTRACT
THE Pro14's rushed introduction of its two-conference format is taking a bit of adjusting to — especially the practice of teams playing regular matches outside their own group. The disconnect between the two divisions was evident during the Leinster-Munster post-game at the Aviva. Normally, the concession of a late bonus-stealing try to Munster would have narked Leinster boss Leo Cullen, given the Reds would have been rivals for a top-four spot in the old 12-team league. However, with Munster operating in a different conference to Leinster and not a threat in the Conference B top-three race, Cullen admitted the concession of the bonus was irrelevant to him. Quite the change.
