CPA will call on club scene to share equal billing with new inter-county formats

THE Club Players Association will meet with Croke Park officials next week in a bid to safeguard the clubs amidst the brave new world of inter-county competition. In 2018, the All-Ireland landscape will be much altered with a round-robin in the Munster and Leinster Hurling Championships and a similar format for the eight teams that reach the All-Ireland football quarter-finals.
