ABSTRACT
ENGLAND and Everton defender Michael Keane apologised yesterday for an accident which could cost the FA around £10,000. During a training drill at Tottenham's Enfield HQ, which also involved Marcus Rashford, captain Harry Kane and other team-mates, Keane (above left) launched a medicine ball in the air. Amid shouts of 'heads, heads, heads' from the players and as others scattered, one photographer could not escape the heavy fitness ball. It crashed into his camera, damaging the Nikon lens — which can cost up to £10,500. The FA have insisted on paying the repair bill for AFP photographer Olly Greenwood. Keane, 24, part of the England squad who can seal World Cup qualification with victory over Slovenia at Wembley tonight, quickly asked after the photographer and later sought him out at the media centre to apologise.
