ABSTRACT
The article presents the career profile of Dr. Thomas Bernard Fitzpatrick. He was born on December 19, 1919 at Madison, Wisconsin. He had his M.D. from Medical Harvard School. He did his internship at Fourth Medical Service, Boston Hospital in Boston , Massachusetts. He held many important positions throughout his career. During 1952-58, he was professor and head, Division of Dermatology, University of Oregon Medical School in Portland Oregon. In 1951, he got Mayo Foundation Alumni Research Award. In 1965, he got Myron Gordon Award for Distinguished Contribution.
