Reports that Dimension Films has named Matthew Stein has been promoted to the position of vice president of production/development and home entertainment. Previous position as executive assistant to company co-chairman Bob Weinstein; Stein to work with writers and filmmakers to develop projects for the studio and collaborate closely with post-production team to produce material for DVD and video releases of titles from the Miramax sister division.
