Photoinduced charge-density-wave dynamics in K[sub 0.3]MoO[sub 3]

ABSTRACT
We report on time-resolved spectroscopy from the ultraviolet to mid-infrared spectrum of low-frequency collective excitations: dispersion and anisotropy of amplitude mode and phase mode in quasi-one-dimensional charge-density wave conductors, K[sub 0.3]MoO[sub 3] and K[sub 0.33]MoO[sub 3]. Our results show that the time-resolved optical technique provides momentum resolution of collective modes. © 2004 American Institute of Physics.
