This article presents the job interview of Andy Hobsbawm, European managing director, Agency.com Ltd. When he was asked about the key responsibilities of his job, he said his role was basically to ensure the financial, creative and emotional health of the business and 130 employees. When he was asked as to what attracted him to working in information technology, he said he remembered the first time Agency.com launched a site in 1994, looking at the Unix box monitoring all the visitors. Just the idea of all those people from all over the world, communicating through this vast network was something big and important he wanted to be part of.
