ABSTRACT
Apple Computer Inc. has linked up with regional development agency Yorkshire Forward to deliver training and qualifications to meet the need for skills in the area's burgeoning information technology industry. Yorkshire and Humber will become the first region in Great Britain to offer Apple Certified Technical Coordinator training in Mac OS X. Courses will be available through public-sector-funded training providers, including West Yorkshire New Technology Institute and Doncaster College. The region's so called' digital industries cluster' is worth £ 2.2 billion a year, claims Yorkshire Forward.
