Carphone Warehouse is adopting a video picture system that is used by the Special Forces in Iraq to send instant images to the Pentagon to train staff. The mobile phone chain is using Essential Viewing's video streaming software to train team members on its landline service. The video compression and transmission technology works over the company's existing narrowband network. The system has now become an integral part of Carphone Warehouse's training, including road shows, coaching visits, workbooks and hands-on training.
