Porting wireless numbers could pay dividends

Reports that Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center in Patterson, New Jersey, has cut its monthly wireless service bill in half by porting all its phone numbers from AT&T Wireless to Cingular Wireless. Savings due to wireless number portability; Government mandate that wireless service providers let customers port their phone numbers to other carriers.
