QA has cut the time needed to become a Cisco Certified Network Associate from nine days to five by launching a blended course combining e learning from SkillSoft with Comstor's instructor-led training. "To create a blended programme you must understand how the elements fit together and then redesign those elements," explains Paul Northcott, head of consulting at QA. The different course elements are fixed, but Northcott claims it still provides flexibility. "If you prefer to skim through the e-learning and read books, you can take that approach," he says.
