E-commerce minister Stephen Timms says he wants wireless fidelity in every library in Great Britain. Wireless fidelity (wi-fi), basically enables users to connect to the Internet at broadband speeds without cables, as long as you've got compatible technology and, in the majority of cases, a wi-fi account. BT Openzone, a leading wi-fi network in Great Britain, is running an inaugural Wireless Broadband Week between January 26, 2004 and February 1, 2004. British Gas and Vodafone are among those looking at the merits of m-learning, which undoubtedly offers excellent avenues for top-up and refresher training.
