ABSTRACT
The article presents several news related to the business world in Detroit, Michigan. Gale Group Inc. chief executive officer, Allen Paschal, resigned last week as of January 26, 2004. He led the Farmington Hills, Michigan-based business owned by Thomson Corp. since Thomson merged three of its entities in 1998. The state is going to sell $1.3 billion in general-obligation bonds to alleviate a cash-flow crunch. James Anderson, founder of Detroit-based Urban Science, donated $500,000 to establish an endowed fund to pay for a new entrepreneurial engineering program at Wayne State University.
