ABSTRACT
This is the eighth in a regular series of articles looking at key aspects of career management and development. Discussed here are tips for job hunting on the Internet. There are variety of sites that hold job vacancies. These are general job sites, specialist job sites, newspaper sites and employer sites. One should speak to friends and colleagues and get recommendations of Web sites relevant to one's occupation. When using recruitment sites do take time to read any tips or instructions on the site. The best sites are those that are free, updated regularly, have control password, respect your privacy and do not send out your information without your permission. Built up a list of keywords to help your search. Manage your time online. Be careful about using the office Internet access.
