ABSTRACT
Since the library facilities of the Institute of Logistics and Transport, as of 2000, have been recognized and upgraded for the benefit of the members and their requirements, this article reminds members of this important part of the institute offering to them. For the first time, all of the library holdings which form part of the institute's knowledge base have been brought together on a single database providing over 10,000 reference and loan items for the use of members. Stock has been increased to provide wider journal and periodical coverage and more current books and pamphlets to assist members' professional development. Historical material has been shared with the British Library and the Science Museum Library. Remote access for all members has been improved significantly as a result of the single database and better arrangements for holding the institute's physical material in the enlarged library in Corby, England.
