ABSTRACT
The article presents books that help kids to learn words that describe mathematic concepts. Parents should talk to a child about ways and patterns that make up environment and encourage him to describe the repetition of shapes, colors or designs that creates the patterns he finds. Number books help children learn about number identification and quantity. Parents can invite a child to draw pictures of or find photos of, things he loves.
