ABSTRACT
A home is an important place for a child to explore and learn. To keep it safe from hidden hazards, one needs to look at each room from a child's perspective. Parents should make sure that cleansers, detergents, polishes and other toxic materials stored under the sink or in a closet are locked up. Curtains and Venetian blind cords should be tucked away, out of child's reach. One should unplug hair dryers when it's not in use and should never leave an infant or toddler alone when she's in the bathtub, even for a minute.
