ABSTRACT
The article reports on the market performance of JSE Ltd.'s stocks in South Africa. Measured by market cap, the JSE has weakened even further with only 34% of the top 100 shares. After growing by only 5% in 2015, definitely 2016 did not turn out to be the turning point of the local market as shares above 200-day exponential moving averages (EMAs).
