ABSTRACT
Discusses the problem encountered when rechargeable portable products, such as personal digital assistants, cell phones and digital cameras, integrate the charge controller to allow charging on the go. Problem caused by the reduction of the integrated charging cradle to a simple adapter; Possibility that the output voltage of the adapter will have output transients that far exceed the ratings of the sensitive electronic components often employed.
