ABSTRACT
This article presents the newsletter of International Society for Dermatologic Surgery (ISDS), which provides information on the Fourth International Congress held during October 2-5, 1983 in Granada, Spain. The Congress opened with speeches by physicians Perry Robins and Robert Baran and the professor Felipe de Du-Ianto. ISDS founder and first president Perry Robins, called for continuing efforts to secure acceptance of dermatologic surgery as an integral part of dermatology. He emphasized the importance of high quality training in dermatologic surgery, at both the residency and postgraduate level.
