This article reports all members of the Institute of Logistics and Transport are entitled to use the library and information service free of charge. Members can visit the library in person, by appointment, or can telephone, send electronic mail, fax or post basic information requests. The library contains books, pamphlets, conference proceedings, annual reports for the major logistics companies, directories, the Reward Group's twice-yearly salary survey, the Freight Transport Association's guide to distribution guide to distribution costs, Croner's Logistics Management, videos and audio tapes on all aspects of transport and the supply chain, as well as journals. There is computer access to all stock, which can be searched by author, title, keyword or subject.
