Die James Hardiman Library, Irland, durchläuft umfassende Umstrukturierungsmaßnahmen, deren Ursache u. a. aus der europäischen Finanzkrise abzuleiten ist. Gleichzeitig ist diese Bibliothek ein Ort von Innovation und gelebter Nutzerorientierung, wie eine Bücherbox und der Makerspace zeigen. The James Hardiman Library, Ireland, goes through comprehensive restructuring measures which were caused, among other reasons, by the European financial crisis. At the same time, this library is a place of innovation and practised user orientation, as a book box and Makerspace show.
