The long-established masteral in science transport planning and management course offered at the University of Westminster has been revised from the 2001 academic year, to simplify its structure. The subject mix is similar to that before, but common core subjects are now grouped into fewer modules, each with higher credit weighting. These are transport economics and finance, comparative transport policy, statistics, and surveys for transport. Additional guidance and contact time, are provided for the research dissertation, which comprises one quarter of all credits. The wide range of specialist option modules continues.
