ABSTRACT
Steve Cowper of the Paragon Software Systems, gave a review to the members of the Mercia and Mid-Wales branch of the Institute of Logistics and Transport of computerized vehicle routeing and scheduling for own account operators, third-party logistics companies and haulage fleets at a recent meeting. He believes that the information technology solutions are helping companies to cut distribution costs and enhance customer service and frequently underpin strategic business growth objectives. The company has particular expertise in providing solutions for home delivery, complex multi-site distribution planning and real-time tracking and monitoring.
