ABSTRACT
Pointers on what a potential employee must consider after being considered for a final interview were discussed. One should not mention salary until the interviewer does. It is best to check the likely salary range before submitting one's application. Research the jobs market to get a feel for the going rate for the position. One should know his or her worth as an employee. One should read the job description. One should use silence when negotiating for the salary. The interviewer may come in at the low end of the scale but be willing to offer more. The things that should be considered by the potential employee when trying to determine whether he or she would be happy working for the company are organizational culture, size of company, risks involved, and the location of the business.
