ABSTRACT
The Radical company, the supply chain modelling software specialist, has announced the winner of its prize money for logistics undergraduates. The prize was awarded to Franc Nicoletti, an undergraduate studying for his academic degree in food supply chain management at the University of Huddersfield. He is planning to undertake a project on the use of network planning software for strategic supply chain management in his final year. The grant was introduced in 2001 in collaboration with the Institute of Logistics and Transport with the aim of encouraging students to recognize supply chain modelling as an essential skill in managing global operations and to consider this area carefully as future career path.
