ABSTRACT
The pre-retail service company DTS Logistics has launched a new booklet that is designed to simplify the lives of those in the logistics and fashion sector. The booklet is called "An A to Z Guide of Terms for the Clothing, Textile, Transport, Processing and Forwarding Industry." The 48-page publication contains over 350 definitions for terms and acronyms commonly used in these sectors. The wide selection of definitions in the booklet range from 'AAA' or the administrative accompanying document, to 'zero rating', which is described as value added tax charged at zero percent as opposed to 'exempt.' In addition there is a section dedicated to clothing size conversion charts, weights and measures and a table showing the breakdown of responsibility and charges between the importer and exporter.
