ABSTRACT
Six months after the introduction of the euro on the continent, 58 percent of exporters in Great Britain believe that the country's participation in the single currency would benefit their businesses, an increase of 15 percent since March 2001. In addition 51 percent believe that if tax harmonization was to occur across the European Union, it would not damage their businesses. These results were taken from the tenth anniversary edition of the DHL Quarterly Export Indicator. Only 14 percent of exporters believe the euro will be of no benefit at all, and 26 percent believe it would make no difference.
