ABSTRACT
The Simulus company has unveiled a virtual testing suite in its SIMperformer range for potential users of the IBM server hardware to construct complex virtual information technology systems for simulating real-world performance. The IBM TSSP incorporates knowledge-based wizard technology to guide users rapidly through the construction of mission-critical IBM Enterprise server and subsystem models. Together with other optional support packs it accelerates the process of running supplier-independent virtual system analyses within the low cost, non-intrusive SIMPerformer environment. Each of the support pack modules is designed for specific hardware platforms widely used in information technology systems including those from Compaq, HQ and Sun.
