ABSTRACT
As part of the continual improvement of member services, the Institute of Logistics and Transport is introducing a new facility to enable members to spread the cost of annual subscriptions over the year. Members whose renewal falls in June 2001 will be the first to be offered the option of making monthly payments by direct debit, at no additional cost. This brings payment of your subscription into line with most other regular payments and should help with your budgeting. Any individual member who maintains a current account at a bank in Great britain will be able to opt for this payment method. The only exceptions will be where membership is a prerequisite for undertaking a particular course of study, when prepayment of subscription to cover the duration of the course may be required, and subscriptions for academic and company friend membership.
