The periodical "Logistics and Transport Focus," provides career development-related information on several members of the Institute of Logistics and Transport, as of March 2000. Graham Brown has been appointed senior traffic and transport engineer with the consulting engineers Upton McGoughan plc. Alan Davies has been appointed head of a new development team set up by the WSP Development. Peter Backhouse has been appointed group director for the European operations by the Ryder plc. Andy manning has been appointed to the new role of group distribution manager by the New Wave Logistics company. Paul Carvell has been appointed to the board of the Business Post Group plc as chief executive. Kevin Atkin has become a project consultant for the total operations consultancy, Tomkins Associates.
