ABSTRACT
This article focuses on the Asian Adventure 2001 Study Tour, the 20th annual visit arranged by Andrew Dartnell from the Stoke and Stafford branch of the Institute of Logistics and Transport. The first leg of the Asian Adventure was at Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The first call on the tour was at the residence of the king. The next attraction was the National Monument. The group then took a short trip to the Menara telecommunications tower. After lunch the next day, the group visited the Royal Selangor Pewter Factory. The group then visited Singapore wherein they visited some of the transportation facilities in the country. The group visited the offices of the Port of Singapore Authority, the Boon Lay Interchange, and the facilities of the CWT Distribution company.
