The study revealed that despite the nine percent yearly turnover of directors, almost 40 percent have held their position more than ten years. if the industry is a victim of an ageing set of leaders, there is no evidence that their company's performance is flagging. of the 311 companies where these over-60-year-olds work, alomost 53 percent are running successful companies. This compares favorably to the industry average of 49 percent.
