ABSTRACT
The article mentions a survey about the responsibilities of financial executives in private companies--conducted by the Financial Executives International organization--that will be in the February/March 1999 issue of "FEI News." Seventy-five percent of the respondents indicated that their duties include supervising various functions such as accounting, financial reporting, risk management, corporate taxes, and strategic planning.
