ABSTRACT
The article focuses on time management and how several chief financial officers (CFO) organize their work day. Their common principle is having a to-do list and a calendar. Advanced Network and Services CFO Robert Harris comments on the benefits of using an online calendar within the non-profit organization to schedule meetings with colleagues. Keystone Foods CFO Michael Mardy comments on the use of technology in his manage-by-walking-around style of management. Twelve suggestions for better organization include establishing priorities, focusing on one task at a time, and delegating as much as feasible. INSET: 12 tips to better organization.
