ABSTRACT
The article presents a profile of John P. Jessup, the vice president of finance and controller of Du Pont Co. Jessup has been with Du Pont for 27 years rather than develop his career with several different companies. While with Du Pont he has traveled all over the world with assignments in Tokyo, Toronto, and the U.S. He has had different jobs within the same company that have allowed him to grow and learn about financial institutions due to its commitment to training. He says he relaxes and manages stress with exercise, vacations, reading a book, and spending time with his family.
